Back on track

I am a terrible blogger.  I can't believe that my baby Kayson is nine months old and I haven't even posted about his greatness or cuteness yet.  And Hadley is now starting preschool and getting smarter, and saying the funniest stuff everyday and I can't even remember half of it...This is why I need to be a blogger.

Anyways about Kayson! He is the happiest little guy and is just so easy to smile. He is a big time mommas boy but I have to admit that I kinda like it. He's really active these days and is a skilled crawler/ climber and on the verge of walking.  I am expecting by halloween he will be definitly be walking down our street and trick or treating this year.  He is in that stage of babyhood where he is into everything and sometimes I just have to laugh at him when he crawls as fast as he can to put his little chubby hands into any toilet with the seat up...I am also annoyed and grossed out but its just so funny that he knows he's not supposed to be in there and that just makes it more funny when he races over there and looks at me like he knows he's getting away with something sneaky.   He  loves to eat, especially big kid food and is barely tolerating baby food any more so I'm on the verge of completely crossing over.  He loves to play cars, grab my earings, and watch and crawl after Hadley.  Most times Hadley enjoys making him laugh but lately that is starting to change.  He is an awesome napper but still wakes up once a night.  I'm not one of those moms that can handle letting him cry it out although I have made a couple of attempts.  I figure he will grow out of it eventually because Hadley did so I am excited for that to happen in the near future I am sure.  Anyway, we are now to the point where I can't imagine my life without him in it.  He's a blessing to have in our family.

Hadley is getting so 'big girl' looking and the frequent comment I get from my friends and family is that they can't believe how long her hair is getting. She is really smart and saying things and specific phrases all the time that floor me.  The funniest thing that I can remember lately is Hadley telling me in the car on the way home from grandmas was that she had a scarey monster friend named "payson" that had sharp claws and that he was sometimes mean and sometimes nice.  Also he really really really teeny tiny so no one can see him but Hadley.  Another good one is she got a scrape on her tummy somehow and getting her dressed one morning I asked her what happened and she says "oh I was up in the mountains and I fell off a cliff"....but I learned a couple of days later when she wanted her stuffed bear Rosey Posey off high shelf in her room that she calls shelfs cliffs.  So apparently anything the has an edge is a cliff?? Anyway she is a crack up.  I am sad that she is soon going to a sunbeam and is already in preschool and just loving it.  I wonder how long that lasts, kids loving school, cause for now I really enjoy that she loves to learn, loves get out and be social, and especially she loves to be with her aunts who all help and teach at her preschool.

I better post this now while I am thinking of it.  I think I have a couple pictures saved to this computer that I will add but they may be a little dated.
